In the midst of the covid-19 contingency, our environmental business unit managed to deliver 40 garbage compactor boxes and 19 dump trucks on time for waste collection in Barranquilla, as part of Mi Ciudad of Renting Colombia project.
Fanalca won this tender, which had a start date of June 1. The team in charge planned to travel in March to install the machinery for the next three months. However, the coronavirus crisis represented a risk to meet delivery times.
As garbage collection is a vital need, we kept the date of operation and thanks to the synergy between various areas of the organization, the team was able to travel to Barranquilla and meet the agreed date.
